Freshmen [20] vs Niles [14]

Game 9: The PC Freshmen team traveled to Niles and closed out the 2012 campaign with a big win over the previously undefeated Viking squad, 20-14, on Oct. 18. The game was highlighted with a Mustang defensive stand late in the fourth quarter as Niles had a first-and-goal from the seven-yard line. Portage Central pushed the Vikings back for four straight plays and Niles turned the ball over on downs with less than two minutes to play. The Frosh Mustangs end the season with a 7-1-1 record.
